Do you by any chance have contact info for Barney Frank? If ever there was a politician who should be run out of office - its him. He sat on the Senate Finance Oversight Committee and watched all this happen, and has the balls to point fingers at Republicans. |

"The first thing that would make me feel a little bit better towards them, if they'd follow the Japanese model and come before the American people and take that deep bow and say I'm sorry, and then either do one of two things -- resign, or go commit suicide." -- Sen. Charles Grassley, on AIG execs |

Yes the Japanese are a very proud people. When they have disgraced their work, family or their country I think they would jump on the sword so to speak. They would not resign they are not of that mentality. These guys should do us all a favor and jump on the sword but that would be too easy. They should be put in one of the toughest prisons in the U.S. and do hard labor with the worst and meanest criminals in those places. Now that would be justice..This garbage of going to the country club prisons should not even be on the table. They are no better than people who rob banks with guns and kill people. |

He makes my skin crawl. He and Dodd should have criminal charges brought against them. Perhaps Cuomo will go after them too. |

He has already started to take action, let's hope he gets them. They have two office one in NY and the other I believe California, forget. As a New Yawker as you just can never not be one with the accent, he will do whatever it takes to get these guys. He wants Hilary's seat. No Doubt About it. Very highly motivated Political family the Cuomo's. And although I am not a Democrat I like them alot. They are a great bunch of people and honest.. |

Considering his preference for men your statement is really funny. You hit it right on the head. Yet he is not the only one that is the cause of all this mayhem and destruction. All these people have to be taken out regardless of party affiliation. We need to band together and get past this crisis. Chris Gardner who had the movie made about his life called " Pursuit of Happiness" made a very interesting statement the other night on Glenn Beck. He said that he was working with economist and other organizations to see what would happen instead of giving all this Stimulus Money out if the Government gave every American who votes, over 18, American citizen 1 million dollars. The study is not over. But this guy is a good example of you can make it if you try and believe in yourself. He has done much since his success and should be proud of himself.
Could a concept like that work? I don't know given all that is in that package but is sure as heck would start Stimulus and if people were not total ja's about the money, many could get their lifes in order or back to order. The rest of the money in the package, could then be used for what it was or should be designed to do, built the infrastructure, create jobs and get the country back on track. I do not like that the Banks are being owned by the Government. Maybe if something like that would or could happen, it would put the banks in a situation that they would want to help us rather than screw us the way they did with giving out loans to people who could not or should not have gotten them. A pipe dream I don't know but it sure as heck is better than funding unneccessay Pork items. And the good part is that you would not have to pay the Government back. What do you think?
I am going to post a great letter sent to me by a friend about the Big 3 Auto Makers in Motown. I give the guy alot of credit and his points are quite valid. I am not against unions but I believe the time has long past for their necessity. I realize there is bad management, but there is also bad unions. Why do you think the auto industry, aviation industry hell most of them are on the balls of the axx it is because of the demands of the unions. Some of the biggest idiots are Union Shop Stewards and once retired you would die if you knew what they make a year for a pension. You all know where that comes from the dues people paid all the years to their unions. Some of these guys who's IQ is maybe 60 are receiving 70-8- grand a year for pensions. That is absolutely insane. And people are still getting laid off even with the companies with unions in place. What is the answer there? Another question to think about. Most of Europe is unionized. It does not work for them I have seen it in action. Anyway gonna post that letter but again we need to react and not be victims of this mess. As if we choose to be victims we will surely lose what many people have died for and still are in harms way to protect what this country was built on, Democracy and that should never be taken from any of us.
Have a nice night...........................

Anyone who believes that government can take care of them and solve their problems is at the very least seriously misinformed and at worst a complete fool. Most are likely in the first group having been educated in the govermment operated public school system which no longer teaches the true history of governments. |

You got that Cranky..they're agenda is to teach kids all the liberal idealogy and nothing more. They could care less about the history of anything about this country. Their soul purpose is to ensure that kids are apathetic to how this country was built and why people died for our freedoms. Unfortuantely these teachers reap the benefits of those that gave up their lives for our freedoms and are using it to mess with young minds. |
